The Major is a wanted man in Libya for terrorism and in most of South Africa for heinous war-crimes, such as participating in the merciless killing of fleeing refugees in Rusape, Zimbabwe. He is also pursued by several other countries for various other illegal activities. Despite such a frightening record of wanton disregard for the laws of society, Major Bludd is known for his refined tastes, ability to spin a good yarn, and a distaste for the United States. With his unwavering loyalty to the coin, Bludd was one of the then-unknown Cobra Commander's first choices in assisting the terrorist organization Cobra's rise to prominence.
