Personal Data: Zartan is a mysterious figure whose uncanny abilities to disguise himself as anyone at anytime make him a very dangerous individual. Even Cobra Commander's vast resources had trouble tracking down this master of camouflage. Zartan had spent many years playing body doubles for some of the world's biggest villains. As a result, he is relentlessly pursued by the authorities wherever he goes. While his expert masquerades have kept him well ahead of justice, it could not have been long before his luck ran out. Consequently, when Cobra Commander and Storm Shadow approached him with an offer to escape his pursuers, he readily accepted and took his place within Cobra.
