Long Summary: This is issue opens with Hawk
busting into a General’s home at night to get authorization for air and ground
support. Duke and Lady Jaye are in a sniper position. Beach Head, Doc, Scarlett, and Stalker are on the ground. And Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow are
fighting. As undercover operatives
with the Sons of the Night Roadblock and Rock ‘n’ Roll have slipped away and
make a sneak attack on the Cobra positions, which were set up by there
assault leader, Major Bludd. Rock ‘n’ Roll captures Major Bludd, who has a transponder in his vest. This transponder is actually a guidance
marker for a missile on Storm Shadow’s helicopter. Cobra Commander commands Storm Shadow to
withdraw his forces, and to make sure Major Bludd
is loyal and doesn’t betray any Cobra secrets. At this point in the battle the Black
Dragon Six, a super high tech secret plane, has already successfully been
stolen and cleared the area. As the Joes are loading Major Bludd, who is wearing his vest, into a helicopter. Snake-Eyes makes a
sneak attack, grabs Major Bludd, cuts off his vest,
and throws clear of the Joes. The
missile from Storm Shadow’s helicopter explodes safely away from the
Joes. Snake-Eyes has
once again saved them from an attack.
Storm Shadow is able to rescue Major Bludd
from the Joes during the explosion.
Storm Shadow returns Major Bludd, still tied
up and he reveals that Snake-Eyes was at the scene to Cobra Commander. The Joes return to The Pit. Snake-Eyes is now
sitting with the team watching television. All of them are nervous about his
presence except Scarlett who defends him and his
actions. Cobra Commander breaks
through the television programming to make a speech about the current lying,
self serving, and ineffectual leaders of the Summary by Josh Eggebeen (aka |
