Does anyone else grow tired of this comic? Almost every issue is like: See Snake-Eyes. See Snake-Eyes fight. Is he a ninja? Yes. Is he a commando? Yes. But I just grow tired of the stories here. Don't get me wrong. It has not been all bad and mostly every issues has it's positives to go along with it's negatives (almost all comics do). I'm just ready for IDW to stick him back in the main pack with the rest of Joes and to stop making me buy three titles to get the entire story. I know I don't have to buy all three titles, but I'm afraid I'll miss something key to the entire series (like if someone passed up on Cobra last time and missed Cobra Commander getting killed--which, by the way, was one of best two or three page set in comic history).

I agree. Snake-eyes was my favorite in the first 47 issues of arah but he is overused in all four books including Larry hama's arah. I think it's time to utilize other characters both old and new. Arah is my fave and I will become unglued if it is cancelled before s.e. and cobra( a book I love and the main reason I keep coming back to the revamp. I'm sick of helix and green shirts. There are a lot of cool toys from both the 2000's and classics from '82-94 in recognizable uniforms and personalities. The revamp just doesn't feel like joe. I would like idw to put s.e. on hiatus and try an ongoing sister title of arah with Hama writing. It seems only fair to have two of each version. Just my limited opinion.

It seems the cover was changed and we have two very different covers:

I for one am not growing tired of this series.
Come on guys! I can't believe what I'm hearing, how long have fans prayed for a SE solo series? And the SE naysayers were finally happy to have him out of the main title... damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Anyway, you got your wish I guess, was 21 issues really that long? Now he can take the spotlight in Special Missions, I guess, once in a while.
On to the issue. Even after all these years, I can't believe what a powerful character SE is. The silence, you wonder what he thinks, his friends wonder what he thinks, his enemies wonder too. All sorts of scenarios joggle through your mind as you read the story.
To think that the supposedly great Hollywood script writers don't see this potential and only use him as a bodyguard.
What a genious Hama was for keeping him silent all these years. What a great way Dixon is handling him.
I didn't like Dixon's first take on SE too much (back in Reloaded with Beach-Head). I mean it was comical and he's done it since again, and it's fine, but this is much better.
As for the Soft Master... nothing to do with the one we know from ARAH. The Hard Master is a tougher version of the ARAH one, but after leaving the clan he becomes like the ARAH Soft Master.
This Soft Master seems like a real sob.
It was nice to see the Moray Hydrofoil. Always loved that toy.
And the Zartan cover is very misleading, no Zartan in this issue. Would have been a better cover for the previous issue.
