Just got a digital copy of it on my iPad (no more driving to the comic shop!) of the latest GIJoe: Cobra #7. What an issue! Wow. And I can say that one of my theories about Black Light was close. Very, very close and also right on the money . But sadly, another Joe bites the dust. My problem with the Gijoe story before issue #7 is in regards to Blackout's call to Major Bludd. Evidently, Bludd already knew about the Tuna in advance BEFORE BlackOut discovered ti. But the timing of the issues' release screwed it all up in terms of the timeline. It's almost out of whack. That means BlackOut wasted his time trying to tell Bludd about the Tuna. And I think starting next month, we'll be hearing chants of " Krake. . .Krake!. . . KRAKE!! " as he dons his new helmet while Serpy pouts and weeps.

Brandon wrote: My shop didn't get this in, crap!!! Anyone else missing it? Next time, get a Kindle Fire or iPad and you won't have to worry about being out of comics . Comixology's app is far superior than IDW's app store currently. IDW's app is notoriously late with their uploads which takes 2 weeks for actual issues to be available AFTER print release. On the other hand, Comixology's 'Same Day As Print' is phenomenal and on time. I love comic shops and I'd buy physical paperbacks there, but a single issue that the shop may be out of, I'd go digital without worrying about the truck shipment arriving. But Comixology, I believe, is only available on iPad and other Android apps. Even the iphone, if you have one. I tried to get issue #7 on IDW last night but it had technical issues, so I went over to Comixology, and lo and behold, they got the actual issue available with no server issues, saving me an hour of driving to the comic shop, just for that comic. Still issue #7 is pretty good, but I warn that you might get a little pissed off at IDW's approach on what happens in that issue.

Looks like just the variant shipped last week - strange. The regular book is scheduled to ship this coming week.

Sounds like your shop did'nt order enough copies of them? You should contact the shop owner about it or go digital on Kindle Fire or iPad. Or you could contact IDW directly and see if they can mail you the subscriptions?

Or you could contact IDW directly and see if they can mail you the subscriptions? Didn't ship period to some shops this week. It's an IDW/Diamond distribution issue. It's happened before with Joe and other IDW books. If the incentive is ready to ship so are the regular covers. They all print them at the same place. My shop never orders enough for incentives. He orders what he can sell like most shops should do. And do you realize how overpriced a subscription to a IDW book is? I remember when subscribing to a book you got it CHEAPER then cover priced shipped to your door. Digital? That's a whole different ballgame and I personally would want the comic in hand. But if it allows reading of the book before getting it in at his local shop? That's an ok alternative. My copy will be in next week. My shop did not get it.

Read it digitally also.
HOLY COW what a great great great great read.
The Cobra book just keeps blowing the other books out of the water with everything it is doing. Always so unexpected and just awesome.
No spoilers I will check back when its released in stores and you all get the chance to read. And for you Joe fans who are on the way out. Make this your last one so it makes and keeps a great impression of what a GI Joe comic book can do.
AWESOME. THANK YOU IDW

I told my shop I would take whats already been ordered so #8 should, by my calculations, be my last issue. Darn if you are not making me anticapate this one Ant. Darn it all!
