I don't know why I thought of this the other night. If reloaded had a longer run and the Duke is a traitor thing played out do you think that he would have tried to swing other members of the team over to cobra and if so, who do you think it would have/could have been? or in other words, which members of the team could have been easily infulienced by Duke as he was in a leadership position before entering the Cobra camp? hmmmm....

I don't think he would have swayed anyone else to Cobra. I remember when I was reading it for the first time, I thought FOR SURE, he was playing the double agent card and would turn to help the Joe's in the end, proving his Cobra stint was all part of the plan. But the way it played out...WOW! Awesome!
So if you are listening...Hasbro, IDW, Dixion...How about a little more Reloaded?

It seemed to me when it was first revealed that Duke was the traitor, that he was conflicted. They only made him totally dedicated to COBRA in the last 2 issues because the series was being canceled and they wanted to tie up loose ends. Also, Josh probably thought it would be "shocking" if Duke was killed, but to me it seemed his character lacked consistency from issue 9-14. If the series had lasted longer I think his story would have played out much differently than it did.
